Dance

Ms. Pinar is from Colorado Springs and grew up in District 11 schools. She has been dancing since the age of three and brings her extensive experience and passion for teaching to students Pre-K to 5th grade. Ms. Pinar believes that dance, and creative movement is essential for social emotional learning and whole-child development. She believes that anyone and everyone can learn to dance and loves to foster students' unique style and abilities. While she is well versed in traditional dance styles like jazz, ballet, and contemporary, she believes the real power of dance comes through developing skills like self-awareness, physical coordination, teamwork, confidence, and self-expression.
